Super Filtration & Ferrari F1
Ferrari F1 realised that if performance and reliability were to increase, they would need to look for ‘NEW’ Technologies to facilitate this.
Thus their reliance on 80 year old conventional ‘Sieve’ cartridge oil filtration was overdue for review.
After testing Magnom and performing metallurgic ballistics analysis following successful testing… a deal was agreed between Ferrari and Magnom.
So compelling were the test results that Ferrari requested minimum of 5 years exclusivity for the New Magnom technology.
Ferrari won the world championship and constructors title
the very first year they fitted Magnom to the F1 cars :-
Resulting in Ferrari complementing the Magnom team with :-
“Congratulations in winning your first F1 Grand Prix & Constructors Title with the team ‘First Time’ out”
From there a long term relationship developed, seeing different development iterations of the New Magnom filtration
This proved to be the start of a number of F1 relationships for Magnom.
Resulting the lessons learned from the extremely positive developments in F1.
Seeing Magnom develop products for industrial Hydraulic and Lubrication applications using their new F1 proven Technology. Resulting in the Worlds First & Only truly Bi-Directional, High-Pressure, Non-Restrictive, In-Line filtration!
Now widely used by industrial OEM Giants such as JCB, Volvo etc…
