The life blood of an engine, transmission or gearbox is its lubrication system. Magnom can provide and enhanced filtrationa and separation capability without damaging or removing important additives in the oil!
Besides protecting the critical mechanical components from wear, the lubrication oils are given an increased life span, thus reducing downtime and consumables.
The patented Magnom™ technology, originally designed for Formula 1, has improved the reliability and reduced the running costs of all types of vehicles.
Magnom™ has the ability to remove both ferrous and some non-ferrous particulate down to less than 1 micron, from a variety of liquid media without a significant pressure-drop or particulate washoff.
In each these environments the Magnom™ has consistently improved reliability, particularly of critical components such as pumps, bearings and valves and has allowed condition monitoring - permitting preventative maintenance.
Conventional barrierfilters, to remove the micron scale particles, have to be so fine that they also neatly remove the fuel additives, so crucial to performance.
By contrast, the Magnom™ merely extracts the iron & steel particles, leaving the valuable additives completely unhindered and free to do their protective work.
