Systems in the field were experiencing premature component failures and increased service costs due to cylinder and valve issues with hydraulic fluid
contamination. Traditional filtration technology was helping but not doing enough to eliminate the problems. At the same time, there was an added difficulty in supplementing the existing filtration system due to the lack of available space.
WALTCO conducted a comprehensive test program to evaluate the MAGNOM Core Technology and determined that the MAGNOM CP, installed in the hydraulic systems controlling the lift gate movement, eliminated the ferrous contaminants causing the accelerated component wear.
