Ron Thorne, Partner in Lodent Precision(01543 453700) has recently fitted a Magnom™ mini module to the closed loop cooling/heating system of a Krauss Maffei plastic moulding machine to protect the system from the harmful effects of ferrous contamination.
The build up of contaminant within a system causes wear and failure on critical components such as pumps, heaters and chillers. Installing Magnom™ ensures the waterways within tools are kept clear of debris. Cycle times are maintained and hot spots reduced without expensive reworking.
This is all done without the problems of flow restriction and blockages associated with conventional filtration.
