Magnom™ Clear 5 fitted after the 50 micron cartridge filter to improve the cleanliness of the system. Fine ferrous debris is potentially catastrophic for bearing manufacture.

This clearly shows that the original 50micron filter was not adequate to the task of cleaning the finer, potentially more damaging debris from the washing fluid.
Note that the clear flow channels remain unblocked even with a heavily filled core.
10 units have now been fitted to further machines. Payback reached within 6 months.

Installation notes
This unit was installed after the convention cartridge filteras the key driver was to improve cleanliness not to extend filter life. The unit could be fitted ahead of the filters to extend life. Cleanliness savings consist of savings in re – wash, rejection and clean down expenses.
